Thanksgiving is here (actually, Its over)! But, it's apparent the purpose of this blog post prompt is too express feelings of thanks, as is due this season. The first thing I am thankful for is my family. They have been there to suppourt me and help me, no matter what I go through. I am especially thankful for my more distant family, and the effort they have given in trying to make me feel welcome at family gatherings, even if I only see them every two years or so. I am thankful for the numerous material blessings I have been given, from delightful vittles, to the books on my shelf. I am thankful for my friends, and their imagination and steadfastness. I am thankful for the freedoms we have, for, perhaps they should be a guarantee to all, but are definetly not. I am thankful for the oppurtunities I have been given, as well as my life for that matter. I am so thankful, that God was willing to create me, and keep me living for this long, for I know that God is in control of my every breath. I am thankful for my religion, Christianty, and my ability to have a relationship with my creator and savior through Jesus Christ's dying for all of humanity.
When I truly try to be thatnkful, and look at all the positives it is astounding how much I find. In stark contrast, how much I find when looking at things negatively are tenfold more so though, in light of so many things to be thankful for. I ask that all my readers (as few as they are) maintain a positive attitude, going into Christmas, and the months after, as we all truly have much to be thankful for.
