This weeks prompt was, if you could live in a video game, what would it be? Now, I have played many genres of games in my lifetime- and also played across many worlds. After much thought, I decided on Pokemon. For those of you that didn't slam your screens down in disgust, the following are my reasons why.
If I lived in another world, I would want to live in one that would have as much or more enjoyment as playing the game. That eliminates all shooter games, becuase living in them would be a truamatic expierience, not to mention dying over and over is not my first choice of how to spend my life. So the things I was looking for was enjoyment, survivability, and the final point was adventure. The ability to stay in the world without growing bored and doing the same activity over and over. I then thought about all my favorite games. The death issue came up in Zelda, as well as No Man's Sky (It's not that bad). Then I thought about my favorite app games, games like Clash Royale, Clash of Clans, and other strategy games, including World Domination, etc. The issue with strategy games is I was unsure if you would be the commander of the armies, or a soldier in the army, and, I assume if you lose the death issue (even as a commander) probably comes up again. Then I thought about Pokemon. In a world where everyone can basically do the same job as the pro-athletes of that world, it seems enjoyable. Survivability is also not an issue, becuase your pokemon are the ones in danger, and in the games they never actually die while your playing. Adventure is also solved becuase throughout all the pokemon games there are seven different regions to explore, over sixty gym leaders to battle, and over 800 pokemon to catch and train. When looking at this plethora of evidence, it is apparent for me that Pokemon is the best choice of a video game to live in. if you wish to share down below your opinion on what video game to live in, it would be great to read your thoughts.

Love your insight about dying over and over. Who would think that was enjoyable.
